Recruiting Director

We are seeking a Recruiting Director to join Emailage!

Emailage is in need of a full time Recruiting Director to manage the talent acquisition process and strategy development. You will have the unique opportunity to build, develop, and execute full life-cycle talent acquisition for Emailage’s corporate functions. In this role you will lead a team and develop and drive a recruiting strategy to support Emailage’s growing business.

Strong preference will be given to those candidates who come from technology or startup/rapid growth background.

The candidate must be able to successfully manage talent searches on a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics, as well as understand how to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines. This role will report to the VP of HR but will work directly with our business leaders and hiring managers.. They will have a reputation for being exceptional at driving candidate generation, as well as possess strong negotiation, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ year’s experience building and leading recruiting teams
  • 10+ years of corporate and/or agency technical recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives
  • Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools and complex spreadsheets
  • Experience with employment branding and social media recruiting
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • You act with discretion and tact when handling sensitive information
  • Love working with people, you are collaborative, upbeat, and optimistic
  • A problem solver with a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves spirit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive a recruiting strategy to support of Emailage’s growing business, emphasizing equality and diversity of hires, process efficiency, and strong internal partnerships
  • Lead a data-driven recruiting organization, use data to demonstrate performance against key metrics, inform decision-making, and measure team impact
  • Develop and drive proactive workforce planning and forecasting to support organizational growth
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across the organization, proactively collaborate to assess needs, build plans, and advise on best practices
  • Build a pipeline of quality talent for a diverse group of functions, including technology, customer success, sales, IT, security, marketing, finance, and HR
  • Prioritize and balance open positions across recruiting team members for the best candidate, hiring manager, and recruiting team member experience
  • Work with HR to support recruiting programs, such as employer branding, employee referrals, immigration, background inquiry, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and HR to build, enhance, and leverage brand to drive recruiting goals
  • Identify opportunities and develop solutions to optimize the recruiting function, including processes, programs, communication, tools, and reporting
  • Build hiring leader capability to source, assess, and select talent
  • Inspire, coach and develop team members for success, both direct and indirect reports

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Must have a proven track record of successful recruiting, hiring, and sourcing talent
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of recruiting, selection, employment best practices, Arizona and California policies, rules, and regulations
  • Must be able to negotiate with candidates based on wage and hiring while helping them understand the value of our stock options and benefits
  • Must have the ability and willingness to train and educate director and executive level management on the hiring and recruiting processes and practices as well as behavioral-based interviewing techniques
  • Strong computer skills: Google Suite, LinkedIn, Microsoft office, Word and Excel
